MAY 2006

The new IA Sound & Light Web Site goes Live, with the aim to list all of our Stock Hire Equipment plus much more, the new site promises to be exciting, infomative & easy to use.

OCTOBER 2006

NOVEMBER & DECEMBER 2006

With Christmas once again upon us it was again time to install our Festive Illuminations for some of our various customers, we have been illuminating one customer in particular for many years, Farnborough Village in Kent. We donned our wet weather gear & climbed into the Cherrypicker with the task ahead of installing a constant run of lights through the Village, this involved iluminating approxiamatly 45 trees & using hundreds of meters of Artic cable, Umpteenth sets of pea lights & Festoon, Ceform connectors, Waterproof boxes & so many lamps we lost count.

A week later we were back to supply & install the stage lighting & sound for the switch on event, that night all our hard work came to life as the village was brought to life with a wash of colour, it looked stunning & many Villagers commented on the quality of the lights & the event in general, which made getting soaked all worth while! May 2007

We have moved!! - After many months converting a 1940's machine shop we have a new home, we now have more space, better parking for customers, reception/counter, workshop/offices & soon a dedicated high-tec demo room.
The new office enables us to increase our hire stock and the range of services we offer, this means that there will be many exciting changes happening at IASL over the new few years.

June 2007 - Farnfest 07

This year after previously supplying various bits to Farnfest we were chosen to supply all the Lighting, FX, Sound & Staging/Trussing.

"Farnfest "Music in the village, by the village for all". FarnFest is a non-profit making charity organisation set up to promote and support music based entertainment in Farnborough Village Kent and its surrounding area. The FarnFest Music Festival - an annual weekend of gigs and performances by a wide and varied selection and styles of music and musicians."

For the main event which was an outdoor stage we supplied a 7.4 Metre wide, 6.4 Metre deep & 3.2 Metre high truss rig fitted out with various generic lanterns, blinders, moving heads & scanners, various effect lights & lasers.

On top of that we supplied low smoke, haze & smoke jets plus a 3.4k complete sound rig. All equipment was installed, designed, programmed & operated by IASL.

It was an unforgettable weekend which was attended by hundreds of people many commenting of the quality of the sound and the impressive effect of the lighting & effects.
